I came in not long ago to do a return on a starter and had a new kid helping who had not a good idea of what he was doing, that being said the manager nacho knew of this and had not been very keen on helping with my return. I ended up short the money and told that it was right. Later I was informed that they did not do the process at all right and had to go to another store and they thankfully were able to make it right.
This location has poor customer service skills. I’ve had bad experiences in the past but today I spoke to the manager there because my dad brought in my brakes as they were worn and have a lifetime warranty for replacement. Even though I’ve had them replaced before the manager Nacho was adamant that my car and the brakes were no where to be found. My memory is good and I knew my facts and provided three phone numbers and STILL even after trying to explain he was not budging. How is it possible that they can’t see it in my account? I have all my records so I was baffled. Well not only did they charge my dad for the brakes but they gave us the wrong ones. I called the other Caldwell location because that is where my dad started but they were out of stock. When I called them I spoke to ANNA who deserves her props. Not only has she been there 16 years less than the manager I spoke to yet she knew what to do. And instantly found my account and proof that my car and brakes were listed. My dad had to make a second trip but she took care of him and refunded the money and exchanged them for the correct brakes at another location. It’s crazy that it’s our word against theirs and I can only imagine how many people they have ripped off. Last year, a new hire was denying me front brakes, also covered by lifetime warranty, and it was because he didn’t know how to scroll on the computer screen. That’s not okay because they are so stubborn! I understand a new hire is learning but it almost cost me more money. Be smarter and question everything if it doesn’t seem right. I was so confused but Anna saved the day. I will be thanking her in person. And there you have it. Hope this review helps in some way.
If you can get the young kids to stop talking to each other about their personal lives and nit ignore you to answer a simple "what wiper blade do I need because your outdated book doesn't tell me." It might not be that horrible. Unfortunately it was the closet place that had the cleaner I needed.
Place was a little busy. Just needed bulbs for my trailer so the trip was quick. It was great to have a self check out so I didn't have to wait in line. Didn't interact with any employees since they were helping other customers.
The employees were helpful when I told them what I was looking for, & the item was in stock so I got what I was looking for.
stopped in at the Autozone on 10th street in Caldwell Id. needing to unload some used oil. one person behind the counter helping a customer. There were no other customers in the store. One person looking like an employee meandering around the store checking on inventory, and one in the back on the commercial account desk. I went to this guy as he was reading magazines.. he told me to go to the person behind the counter.. ok.. so i waited approx 15min. the behind the counter finished up with a customer.. then proceeds to aimlessly meander down the Isle of the store while i stood there waiting for help.. the one taking inventory never looked up. I picked up my oil pail and walked out.. NO REASON TO EVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN!!
Had to get a rear tail light 🚨 bulb 💡 for my Subaru Forester. The Staff was very helpful selecting the right part, loaning me a screwdriver 🪛 and even helped me replace the bulb!🤠 …
Products are great...sometimes feels like the associate working with you is overworked, or just doesn't want to be there...
